At present, the development of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone has been risen for the China’s national development strategy. Since "the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Development Plan" promulgated by2008, Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone has started to develop the economy like a raging fire, expected to become of the China’s part of the fourth of pole of economic jack-up after the Yangtze River Delta economic circle, the Pearl River Delta economic circle and the Bohai economic circle. Along with the economic globalization, economic integration and financial integration becoming more and more important, the regional financial development has been an inevitable trend of economic development under this background.Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone located in the southwest coastal areas in China, is the important traffic hub between China and ASEAN countries under the China ASEAN FTA construction and is an important member of cooperation of the Pan-Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone.How the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone develops the regional finance and the financial cooperation with full of opportunities and challenges in the external and internal environment is very important.Firstly, this paper makes a theoretical analysis about the regional financial development through the adjustment of the regional financial structurer the improvement of the regional financial development and the strengthen of the regional financial cooperation to promote the regional economic growth. Then, taking the development of the scale of the finance (bank industry, ecurities industry and insurance industry), the development present situation of financial structure and financial cooperation as the starting point, does a comprehensive analysis on the favorable, unfavorable environment of regional financial development in Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic zone to show that the financial development faces with the advantages of policy and geographical location,the disadvantages of the weakness of financial infrastructure, the opportunities of domestic and international industry situation changes, the threat of the ecological environment under the scientific outlook on development. And then makes the SWOT strategic matrix of regional financial environment of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Development to put forward four kinds of strategies. Finally, combined with the above four kinds of strategies proposes regional financial development strategies and countermeasures about the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.
