With the2013Durban Summit of BRICS held successfully, BRICS reaffirmed common ideas and willingness to cooperate in peace&development, which began a new round of prospects to the world. BRICS has established for four years, that provides a new growth point for the world economy in the downturn and impacts the market of developed countries strongly. Meanwhile, BRICS also has lots of problems such as imbalanced trade structure, lower trade status, prominent social conflicts, political and cultural conflict and imperfect cooperation system. These problems always influence the ability of BRICS to withstand external economic fluctuations and maintain sustained economic growth. Therefore, it’s significant to build up long-term, solid and stable foundation for the development of BRICS. From the view of goods trade, this paper aims at exploring the points of BRICS which are need to improve and upgrade.First of all, the paper chooses the intra-industry trade theory and the theory of the comprehensive advantage strategy as the theoretical basis for researching, and mainly analyses the amount of overall trade and bilateral trade, trade structure, and complementarity&competitiveness of trade commodities in detail. Identifying some problems such as smaller trade volume and trade proportion, imbalanced trade structure and obvious difference of trade status, the paper finds main three factors which affecting these problems in views of the comprehensive advantage strategy. Finally, according to this theory, the paper puts forward some suggestions such as the political mutual trust, industrial structure, economic and trade cooperation, trade order, personnel training and other aspects to promote the goods trade between China and other BRICS countries.
