Building up Food Quality Control (QC) System is a major concern. Current QC system such as ISO9000Quality Assurance System, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System (HACCP) only apply to the procedures of food production, and it has been very difficult to supervise the whole process of the food supply chain. Food Traceability System emerged to solve this problem. Through the construction of Meat and Vegetable Circulation Traceability System, combining the use of modern information technologies, a complete flow of meat and vegetable traceability chain and retroactive liability chain can be form, hopefully covering butchery, wholesale, retail and customer.This thesis attempts to apply theories of Management Information System, Network and Synergetics on Food Industry, to study Meat and Vegetable Circulation Traceability System in Nanning from System Planning, Process Reengineering and Project Implementation points of view. The main contents include:frameworking Meat and Vegetable Circulation Traceability System in Nanning, designing basic functions of management platform and core retrospective subsystem, discussing options for retrospective technology and equipment; proposing the Business Process Reengineering program suggestion of pig slaughtering plant, wholesale and retail market, pointing out the critical control points, and applying comparative analysis in the process before and after the reorganization; discussing the solutions of Meat and Vegetable Circulation Traceability System in Nanning, the whole program will be divided into preparation, construction, acceptance and operation and maintenance stage, detailing the specific content and implementation methods of each stage.The study of Business Process Reengineering and Project Implementation Management in Meat and Vegetable Circulation Traceability System in Nanning, will supplement and improve the research in this field. Hopefully this thesis can be a good reference and useful guidance for building up Meat and Vegetable Circulation Traceability System in Nanning as well as other cities.
