Research For Logistics Operation Mode Selection Of Construction Enterprises

How to choose a proper logistics operation mode and improve the operational efficiency is important for the construction enterprises to make effective logistics strategy. Based on the characteristics of project logistics operation, this paper has analyzed the influencing factors and the choosing methods, and also researched the development countermeasures of the logistics operation mode of construction enterprises.Firstly, based on the characteristics of project logistics, we found out the influencing factors by collating and screening information, selected out the key factors by using the Delphi experts’survey, and then analyzed the hierarchical relationship between the factors by ISM method. Secondly, based on Ballou’s two-dimensional model, we build a decision-making model of logistics operation-mode selection for construction projects, and also provided detail research methods of the three phases. Finally, we studied the logistics development strategies for the construction enterprises based on the decision-making method.This paper has made a systematical research of logistics mode selection for the construction enterprises in the management view. We found out seven key factors of logistics operation-mode selection, including the influence of project schedule, the influence of project quality, the total cost of logistics system, the managing ability of logistics, the controlling force of logistics, the standard and price of3PL and the managing ability of3PL. Then we build a systematical decision-making model based on four optional logistics modes, the self-managed mode, the outsourcing mode, the third-party alliance mode and the supplier alliance mode. Then we searched the improved countermeasures through two aspects:the improvement of information systems and the optimization of supply chain management, focusing on self-managed and first-party mixed logistics mode.
