H Company’s Transmission To TPL

International freight forwarder industry is greatly influenced by world economy interms of its development and trend. In particular, the traditional forwarders in Chinadevelop with great difficulty along with the China’s involvement in globalization.Based on this background, this paper analyzes the trend of international freightforwarders, the potential risks in transmission to TPL as well as the solutions againstthem. Specifically, H&T International Transportation Forwarder Company (hereinafterreferred to as H Company) is the case analysis in this thesis, in which difficulties inoperation of H Company are firstly presented with regards of declined competitiveness,substituted services offered and disordered market as well as deceased profits to indicatethe necessity of its transmission. Then theories related with forwarders andforwarders’ transmission to TPL (Third Party Logistics) are discussed and thusconcludes difficulties H Company meets with. The paper, thereafter, adopts SWOTanalysis method to penetrate H Company in aspects of strengthens, weaknesses,opportunities and treats and to see on the one hand, its major problems such as businessconcentration, overseas market exploration and alliance with professions in forwarders,and underlying risks in freight collection, customers and talents outflow on the otherhand. At the end of this paper, some suggestions are proposed accordingly for referenceof H Company. Also, some suspending questions are showed for further study.
