Research On Manufacturing Industrial Transferring And Undertaking In The Regional Of Jiangsu Province

Regional industrial transfer can balance the regional industrial economic development. Thisarticle takes the manufacturing industry of Jiangsu Province as an example, Jiangsu Province, as theleading industry, has the absolute competitive advantage in terms of the overall scale of the country.Nevertheless, the manufacturing industry in the region of Jiangsu province suffers a vast unbalance,specifically, the manufacturing industry in the Southern part of Jiangsu area enjoys a more rapid andoverall development, yet the manufacturing industry in the Northern area of Jiangsu is less developed.Furthermore, this article draws the gradient differences between two regional manufacturing industry,which to a certain extent meets the criteria of achieving the transfer and acquisition of the regionalmanufacture. But in reality, the current situation of the south-north regional manufacturing industry isdescribed as follows: the project scale of the south-north regional manufacturing industry has beenexpanded each year, yet the effect of the manufacturing transfer is not that obvious. In views of theproblems existed in the present north-south regional manufacturing industry, this article aims to drawcertain conclusion via model construction and empirical analysis.First of all, based on the new classical model of industrial transfer, this article will establish anew control model for industrial transfer and acquisition by introducing two production elements,namely technology and energy. Moreover, the thesis will compare the overall regional effectsconcerning the condition before and after the industrial transfer as well as the technological transfer ineither upper level or lower level, all of which leads to the final conclusion of industrial transferfeasibility boundary. Secondly, five cities from Southern part of Jiangsu province and five cities fromNorthern areas of Jiangsu will be picked as representatives to explicate the regional industrial transferand acquisition in Jiangsu from2002to2010.To further classify according to the regional industrial transfer and acquisition control model.The result shows that the feasibility of regional manufacturing industrial transfer hasn’t beendetermined yet in the rest of the cities in south-north areas in addition to Changzhou-Yancheng City,Zhenjiang-Yancheng City or Zhenjiang City-Xuzhou city. Due to the degree of the technologytransfer and the uncertainty of efficiency, the regional manufacturing industry transfer and acquisitionin south-north area remain uncertain. Finally, this thesis will put forward policies and suggestions onhow to effectively promote the regional manufacturing industry transfer in both southern and northernareas in Jiangsu province.
