Study On The Efficiency Of Yangtze River Delta’s Manufacturing Technology Transfer From The Angle Of Industrial Shift

Manufacturing is the foundation of the stable and rapid development of Yangtze River Delta economic pillar,and its manufacturing industry to the Midwest industry technology transfer not only conforms to the requirements of manufacturing reinvigoration strategy,but also represents the progress of high technology industry’s innovation and achievements transformation,product marketization and promoting economic development in the Midwest.In recent years,with the implement and promotion of manufacturing reinvigoration strategy,Yangtze River Delta’s manufacturing technology transfer,including power supply steam hot water production industry,oil processing and other manufacturing industry,has increased unprecedented power and strength,and also has injected vigor to the Midwest economic development.But the problem of the low efficiency of manufacturing technology transfer brought about by the "extensive" growth pattern of high input and low output is becoming increasingly obvious.As a result,improving the efficiency of technology transfer and better promoting the Midwest regional economic development have become the focus of the current research problems.Based on the definition of manufacturing technology transfer,from the macroscopic angle,we introduced the current situation of Yangtze River Delta manufacturing industry technology transfer and discussed the reasons to trigger manufacturing technology transfer to the Midwest.Then from the inspect of micro angle of index evaluation system,we used grey correlation analysis method to choose input index and output index with proper correlation coefficient.Moreover,we used the new set of input and output indicators and related statistical yearbook of statistics combined with the CCR model in data envelopment analysis(DEA)method to measure the efficiency of technology transfer.The empirical result shows that the 7 years of historical data in the evaluation of Yangtze River Delta’s manufacturing technology transfer are not DEA efficient.Based on further analysis,the results indicate that the main cause of the non-DEA efficiency is excessive inputs.Finally,we discussed the drive mechanism of Yangtze River Delta’s manufacturing technology transfer for the economic development in the Midwest.Last but not the least,several countermeasures are proposed for the improvement of technology transfer efficiency in Yangtze River Delta manufacturing industry.These conclusions are of great reference value and practical significance to improve the technology transfer efficiency of high-tech industries in Yangtze River Delta.Hope it will help Chinese government on dealing with resource allocation among eastern,central and western regions.
