Research On Efficiency Evaluation Of Technological Innovation Of Guangxi Manufacturing Industries Based On DEA

As we all know, technological innovation is the source of economic growth, whichinnovation to improve efficiency. But if the innovation processes are inefficient that canweaken the significance of innovation. As technological innovation is lending all importantimpelling force to the development of our manufacturing industries and the technologicalinnovation efficiency is the important indicator to measure the technological innovation level,the comparison of the technological innovation efficiency is important for an industry tomeasure the economical development and technological innovation level. It is conductive toan accurate understanding of the innovation process of the main technological innovation,which in order to provide theoretical support in order to further improve the efficiency oftechnological innovation, from technical innovation resources comprehensive study of theefficiency of technological innovation activities of input use and output levels.The paper is based on defining the concept of technological innovation efficiency, withthe combination of theory and practice, analyzed of the factors influencing the efficiency oftechnological innovation and evaluation methods, focused on the feasibility of the efficiencyof technological innovation with DEA method which applied to the evaluation. Thetechnological innovation process can be divided into the R&D process and business processfrom input and output perspective, to build the evaluation of the efficiency of technologicalinnovation in Guangxi. Based on the statistics of Guangxi during the Tenth Five-Year Plan,with the use of SE-DEA Model, to calculate26manufacturing industries of R&D efficiency,business efficiency and technological innovation efficiency in2010Guangxi that can beclearly seen the various industries in which stage position and inefficiency, and the efficiencyof technological innovation of the manufacturing industry in the2006-2010five dynamicdevelopment trend analysis, and then summed Guangxi manufacturing technology innovationefficiency characteristics of the industry factors and ownership factors TOBIT Modelempirical analysis to identify factors that affect the efficiency of Guangxi manufacturingtechnology innovation, and propose targeted solutions.Finally, based on the results of empirical research, the paper proposes countermeasuresand suggestions to improve the efficiency of technological innovation of Guangxi.
