An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Technological Innovation Efficiency Of Regional Innovation Environment In China

Under the globalization and knowledge economy background,the world economic development emerges regional characteristics sensibly.Regional innovation becomes one of key factors for the competitiveness of region and regional development.The excellence innovation activity efficiency not only come from the innovation capability of the enterprises in this region,but also come from excellence regional innovation milieus.Among them,Regional innovation environment includes the economic foundation,infrastructure and other hard environment,but also includes the market environment,the level of entrepreneurship and human environment and other soft environment.In this context,the study of regional differences in regional innovation environment in China and its impact on the efficiency of innovation activities will be beneficial to the effective control of the regional innovation environment and the development of the government and enterprises to find the problem,and to make strategic adjustments for different problems,so as to take practical measures to reduce unnecessary waste and expenditure of resources.And it will provide an important basis for policy and practical significance to vigorously promote the development of innovation economic.The paper starts with the analysis of the basic theory of regional innovation environment,and analyzes the mechanism of the innovation environment on the basis of the analysis of the mechanism of innovation activities,Firstly,the innovation efficiency of the 29 provinces(autonomous regions)is estimated by DEA method.Then,the Tobit panel data model and spatial panel data model(SLM and SEM)are used to analyze the empirical regression.Finally,according to the factors of regional innovation environment,the efficiency of regional innovation environment is proposed.Finally,according to the efficiency of innovation activities and the environmental factors are summarized,and put forward to improve the regional innovation environment,improve the efficiency of regional innovation for the policy recommendations.The results show that:(1)The efficiency value of the innovation activities of the provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)in China is not high,and most of the provinces are not fully utilized the innovation investment,and the difference of regional innovation is obvious,and the efficiency of Tianjin,Shanghai,Zhejiang,Shandong,Hainan,Guangxi and other developed regions is in the national level,while Shanxi,Gansu and Yunnan have been at a low level.(2)The regional innovation activities in different regions of China are not balanced,and the regional innovation behavior has the characteristics of spatial distribution;Intellectual property protection,the degree of openness,government support,market,human capital and high tech industries have significant positive impact on the regional innovation efficiency,while the financial sector’s financial support,transportation infrastructure and information infrastructure are not significant.
