A Study On Sino-Kyrgyzstan Regional Economic Cooperation

There are two major significant signs of economic development, economicglobalization and regional economic integration. Under this circumstance, theregional economic cooperation between China and the central Asian has become anancient but new issue. And this issue arouse a great interesting around the world. Asdeveloping countries, China and Kyrgyzstan are neighborhoods. And they are bothlocated in the heartland of Eurasian. The friendship and the trade relations betweentwo countries can be traced to ancient times. Concerned all the factors thatmentioned above, to further open up the Kyrgyzstan’s market have a vitalsignificance to the long-term development of China, especially Xinjiang. To studythe bilateral trade of China and Kyrgyzstan can help to provide important basis onthe study of the trade between developing countries. The paper selects the regionaleconomic cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan as the object. Though thecontrast of social background, the cooperation conditions as well as the feasibledomains of cooperation in both Kyrgyzstan and China, especially in Xinjiang area,the paper prided that the economic developing of the two countries depend on eachother. Therefore, the regional economic cooperation is practical and feasible.Based on the data of trade classification between China and Kyrgyzstan from2003to2012, the paper is designed to discuss the bilateral trade between China andKyrgyzstan by combining theory and practice. The paper includes five parts. Firstly,the preface will discuss the background of the Sino-Kyrgyzstan regional economiccooperation in the new century, current research situation domestic and abroad.Then，summarized the basis theoretical of regional economic cooperation, the theoryof comparative the advantage, isomorphism based on H-O, the theory reciprocaldemand, the theory of intra-industry trade. And secondly, introduced the economicalsituation of Kyrgyzstan and discussed the trade situation between China andKyrgyzstan during2003to2012. Furthermore, reach the relevant conclusion byvirtue of practically analyzing the bilateral trading, and doing a quantitative researchinto the status of bilateral trade. Fourthly, analyzed the data from the survey paper,calculating the trading current situation of Chinese companies which operating inKyrgyzstan. In the end, the paper putting forwards the main problems existing in thetrading and gives an advice for the further development of economical cooperation ofSino-Kyrgyzstan.The result tells that there are many factors affect Chinese company which operating in Kyrgyzstan. Such as culture, country, marketing. It needs more effortsfrom both China and Kyrgyzstan, so that it will be better for the economiccooperation.
