The impact of the world economic globalization and regional economicintegration trends and the tourism industry in an increasingly competitive, more andmore areas are starting to focus on regional cooperation in tourism, in order to raisethe competitiveness of regional tourism.Resources to build inter-regional,complementary source to send each other shared interests "big travel, big market, bigindustry," the inevitable choice of development strategy.Since the1980s, China beganthe study of regional tourism cooperation, then put forward the idea of cooperationand of the importance of cooperation;1990s, regional tourism cooperation in thebeginning of the study include the principles, objectives, content and securitycooperation in tourism; In recent years, focus of regional tourism cooperation acrossadministrative region, and all-round cooperation for cross-industry cooperation in theoperational mode of.More mature in our regional tourism cooperation and development of theYangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and the Bohai Rim, Guanzhong-TianshuiEconomic Zone, the idea of regional cooperation in its tourism as an emergingeconomic zone proposed late, reality run slower, cooperation in tourism developmentis still in its infancy. This paper attempts through the inevitability of regional tourismcooperation, feasibility analysis, combined with the region’s own tourismdevelopment status, looking for the mode and content of cooperation for the regionaltourism cooperation,protection of regional tourism cooperation mechanism, scientificguide to action for the tourism cooperation of the Guanzhong-Tianshui EconomicZone, in order to promote regional development of China’s western regionadministrative cross-border tourism.
