As an important material foundation of national economy and social development, Landcan directly or indirectly influence social and economic sustainable development. Evaluation ofland ecological sensitivity is based on a certain criterion to measure of the sensitivity of landecosystem elements, answering system’s status and adaptation to the outside activities. As anenergy chemical industry base in China, Yulin has a strongly influence by human activities, and afragile ecological environment, so ecological environment problems extrude in here. Based on thepresent land ecosystem problems of Yulin, giving full consideration to the influence factors of landecological sensitivity, the water loss and soil erosion, land desertification and human factors areselected as land ecological sensitivity factors and determining the weights of the three factors.Through collecting data, interpreting remote sensing images and expert evaluation, three land usemap of Yulin in2000,2005and2010and soil texture map and undulate landform map areobtained. ArcGIS software is used to divide different factors to five grades and calculate index ofland ecological sensitivity of527pieces of samples in Yulin, getting the sensitivity index of landecology in2000-2010of Yulin. This paper’s results are DingBian county and JingBian countyhave a higher land ecological sensitivity index, and the south edge of grass land in Maowusudesert area has a middle index, and the hilly-gully region of loess plateau of southeast in Yulin hasa lower index.
