Service industry is a major driving force for national economicdevelopment.Service industry is also an important field of solving employmentcontradiction,which has been proved by the trend of the world economicdevelopment.At present,the trade pattern between China and the ASEANcountries,has gradually from the inter-industry trade based on difference of factorendowments,to difference of economies of scale and intra-industry trade of theproducts.But research on the intra-industry trade are mainly in developed countries asthe object of study,development of intra-industry trade is less research on developingcountries.Especially the intra-industry trade between different developing economiesis still lack of systematic study.According to the China and Singapore service industryas a starting point,firstly the intra-industry trade theory related research literaturesreview,and then the new service industry from two aspects respectively and thestructure of service trade between the two countries,the international competitivenessof service industry in and carry on the analysis,after the new service industry in Chinaintra-industry trade from the static,dynamic and classification of relatedresearch,finally on the basis of this,further by gray correlative degree of new servicesintra-industry factors for empirical research.The United Nations service trade database,the new service trade current situationanalysis,found from the total trade,services trade of the two countries and theproportion of total continued to expand in China,the service industry developmentlevel is much lower than that of Singapore,from economic and trade relations,trade inservices in dependence on China,Singapore slightly more strongly than China toSingapore dependence.From the trade structure,transport,tourism,other businessservices has been the industry three pillars of China’s service trade import and exportof Singapore,Singapore imports of services trade is dominated by the transportdepartment,the tourism sector,royalties and License Services and other businessservices department.In terms of new countries to trade in services competitiveness,asa whole,Singapore’s overall service trade competitiveness is stronger than China,the overall competitiveness of China’s service trade is weak,long-term comparativedisadvantage.Secondly,the article has carried on the system analysis by using GL index,MIITindex,HIIT,VIIT followed by the new intra-industry trade in services.We can discoverthe new service2000-2009years total trade to intra-industry trade,but the trade levelin this industry is not very high. From the specific industry,transportation,insuranceservice trade pattern is mainly to intra-industry trade.Financial services,royalties andlicensing service,computer and information services,trade services and other relatedservices mainly for the inter industry trade is the main trade mode.The rest of theDepartment during the sample period fluctuations,there is a big difference.Such asconstruction services,financial services,personal,cultural and recreational services ininter industry trade and intra-industry trade of back and forth.Again,in view of the service characteristics and availability of data,the articleusing the grey correlation degree to new services intra-industry trade influence factorsin the system analysis,found that affect bilateral intra-industry trade in serviceindustry is the biggest influence factors goods trade intensity,followed by tradeopenness,per capita income differences,Singapore FDI and market scale in China.Thirdly,in view of characteristics of the service and the availability of data,thearticle using the gray correlation degree of new services intra-industry factors aresystematically analyzed,factors that affect the new service impact of intra-industrytrade is the largest of the intensity of trade in goods,followed by trade openness,percapita income difference in China,Singapore FDI and market scale difference.Finally,the article provides the corresponding policy recommendations for thenew service development of intra-industry trade.Such as： promoting thedevelopment of new bilateral trade in goods,promoting the service industrydevelopment;the elimination of trade barriers,the gradual and orderly opening theservice trade market and the market;increase the income of residents to narrow thedifferences between the two countries,per capita income;vigorously the introductionof foreign capital,improve the utilization of foreign investment,provide industrial foundation for the intra-industry trade in services;expand the market scale,achieveeconomies of scale.
