Urbanization is not only the focus of our government’s current work, but also a hot topicof the domestic experts and scholars. For a long time, the research of urbanization wasfocused on the theoretical analysis and development planning, which was lack of strongmathematical support. Each county is a smaller space module, together forms the poverty beltaround Beijing. Because of its special geographical environment, the development ofurbanization in this region needs to do some spatial analysis. Spatial econometric is adiscipline which studies on spatial economic difference. This paper will use it to analyze thespatial distribution of the Economic Circle around Beijing.Firstly, this paper analyzes the urbanization theory, influencing factors and evaluationindicators, preparing for the subsequent spatial econometric analysis.Secondly, make the subjects of study clear, analyze their actual economic condition anddecide the evaluating indicators.Thirdly, it makes an assay of the county urbanization development of the EconomicCircle around Beijing with the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA). As a result, thereare positive correlations between the spaces in this region.Then, it makes an assay of the county urbanization development of the Economic Circlearound Beijing with the Confirmatory spatial data analysis (CSDA), confirming that thespatial correlation comes from the interplay interaction of each spatial unit and thesurrounding spaces. It belongs to the spatial lag model.At last, the paper combines the results of spatial data analysis and gives somesuggestions. It is necessary to promote the transportation development. It will develop rapidlywith a convenient transportation. Construct some groups of small towns that suit localcircumstances. And make the developed regions play a leading role, promoting thedevelopment of the underdeveloped areas.
