The eighteenth congress of the party promoted urbanization development as the focus of the economic development in our country. The present situation of Inner Mongolia is that the urbanization level is higher than the national average and other four ethnic autonomous regions. But the third industry contribution rate is lower than the national average. Urbanization rate of 101 counties of Inner Mongolia was analyzed in this paper. This paper studies the space differentiation characteristics of urbanization of Inner Mongolia. This article analysis of factors affecting the development of urbanization combined with the related theory. In this paper, the study of the character of spatial distribution is across the city and country level. We conducted an empirical study of factors through spatial panel data models. The study found that the employment and industrial structure are the main factors. The research is about related problems of urbanization in Inner Mongolia. The article uses theoretical research, the present situation analysis and empirical analysis. First of all, we sort out the urbanization development related theory to understand the mechanism of urbanization and the focus of the previous. Second, we use Arcgis and ESDA method to study the present situation of urbanization development in Inner Mongolia. The research about the feature is through spatial autocorrelation and mapping express method. Finally, combing with the related theory the influence factors are empirically tested. The empirical of the spatial econometric model is about the country administrative regions. The analysis found that the influence of the population density is negative; the influence of the economic scale is positive; the influence of the employment structure and industrial structure is positive. But it is different about the secondary industry and the tertiary industry. The direct cause of leading to urbanization space difference is town level.
