Research On Regional Tourism Collaboration Among Xiamen, Zhangzhou And Quanzhou

Economic globalization and regional integration are the trends of worldeconomy development, with which XZQ（XZQ stands for Xiamen, Zhangzhou andQuanzhou）metropolitan economic integration is complied. Strong correlation andhigh acceleration of tourism industry make it to be a strategic choice to theeconomic integration of XZQ area. Tourism collaboration in XZQ area has beenrapidly launched; however, how to build an effective collaboration mechanism and away for realizing XZQ regions’ tourism industry development by leaps and boundsis the main exploring of this paper.Tourist flow is the state of tourists spreading on scenic spots and differentspatial distribution. It is the basic principle of regional tourism collaboration.Making the regional economic interests linked directly, trans-region moving oftourist flow breaks the administrative bulwark. The flow of tourist drives theregional tourism stakeholders to adjust some aspects of collaboration. For the spatialstructure of tourist flow adjustment directly affect the distribution of tourismeconomy’s benefits.This thesis uses tourist flow as the key point to research XZQ regional tourismcollaboration, investigated70spots of XZQ area as the objects investigated, reliedon social network analysis technology named Ucinet6.0, and used tools as Spss17.0and Sufer etc. This paper built two tourist flow databases which were from travelagency and self-help, then comparative analysis of the results,based on thequestionnaire survey and travel agency visit, network travel diary and so on tocollect the tourists travel routes. About the problems presented by the XZQ touristflow network structure, this paper analyzed the dynamic mechanism of XZQregional tourism collaboration, including regional competition driver, regionalbenefit and cultural synergy driver. The economic benefit generated by the touristflow in regional tourism cooperation was the basic principle of regional tourismcollaboration. Combining the economy driven mode by tourist flow with theregional tourism cooperation model at home and aboard, based on the tourismcooperation quo, this paper proposed XZQ regional tourism collaboration mode, andanalyzed the path of XZQ regional tourism collaboration from the three levels of government, tourism enterprises, tourism associations and community. In order todeal with problems which emerged during the tourist flow distribution in tourismdevelopment, fair and efficiency, the paper proposed correlative countermeasuresfrom the following aspects: building a three-dimensional transportation network,improving the function of tourist attractions, perfecting the regional tourismorganization structure and protective mechanisms and building the regional tourisminformation system.
