Employee innovation behavior is the important factor to affect the development ofthe enterprise innovation. How to predict the innovation potential and providesufficient innovation support combined with employees’ characteristic has been thefocus of academic research. The analysis on relevent factors affecting innovationbehavior can help the hotel to carry out corresponding measures to cultivateemployees’ innovation potential and predict their future innovation behavior.Meanwhile, the analysis also provides a theoretical basis for the implementing ofinnovative activities.This study takes high-star hotel employees in Xiamen city as the research objectand discusses the relationship during proactive personality, organizational innovationclimate, charged behavior as well as hotel employees’ innovation behavior throughdetailed questionnaire survey and data statistical analysis. The conclusion shows thatproactive personality and organizational innovation climate can positively predict theinnovation behavior of hotel employees. The predictive power of the latter is strongerthan the former. Besides, as the dominant mediator, charged behavior is introducedhere. The research shows that charged behavior and employee innovation behaviorare significantly and positively related. Charged behavior plays a part of theintermediary role between proactive personality and employee innovation behavior,as well as organizational innovation climate and empolyee innovation behavior.Based on these conclusions, this study provides some related recommendationsfrom the aspects of the recruitment and selection of new employees, enterpriseenvironment, leading efficiency, task allocation and resource guarantee. And theresearch indicates that the awareness of employees’ daily work behavior can help thehotel predict employees’ creativity in time accurately. Besides, some practicalguidance is also provided for the hotel in the development of employee innovationbehavior.
