Influential Factors Of Reemployment Of The Urban Unemployed In Urumqi

At present, Chinese employment situation is increasingly serious, reemploymentproblem has become more and more prominent, this problem doesn’t cause the waste ofhuman resources only, but also increases the instability of society. Based on this reality, thispaper mainly discusses the influential factors of the Urumqi urban unemployed.Firstly, this paper is in the use of the560unemployed survey data, then describes theurban labor supply and demand situation、unemployment situation and the reemploymentsituation in Urumqi, which obtains the Urumqi employment problem is not optimistic.Secondly, the influential factors of the Urumqi urban unemployed are analyzed on theuse of survey data, from three aspects that are the personal characteristics (age, sex, nationetc.)、 economy (family monthly income, monthly income before unemployment)、reemployment mentality (the value cognition on work, expectation on work, attitude ofselecting work).Through analysis and discussion, the author found: the reemployment attitudeof the unemployed is positive, but the number of the unemployed which participate inretraining and job interview is scarce; The most of the unemployed found work through socialnetworks, the vast majority of people engaged in informal occupation of low pay and lowsocial status; The influential effect of the personal characteristics to the reemployment of theunemployed is large, especially the nation, and the effect of reemployment mentality isweakening.In the end, the article describes the active employment policy in Urumqi. Combinedwith the empirical analysis conclusion, the author proposes some policy suggestions, forexample, providing the necessary environment of the employment for the unemployed,driving the minority employment through developing the minority economy vigorously, andimproving actively the employment service system, etc.
