Adjustand optimize the industrial structure is an important way to achieve economic growth.In accordance with China’s national conditions, the adjustment of the agriculturalstructure is especially important to take full advantage of the strategic adjustment ofpromoting the development of agriculture, thus promoting the development of society.Gansu Province in western China, a major agricultural province, harsh naturalconditions, there are more constraints in the development of agriculture, is the typicalunderdeveloped regions in China’s western region. Since the reform and opening up,the agriculture and rural economy in Gansu Province, has been a large development,longitudinal comparisons, in quantity and quality, Gansu agriculture and the ruraleconomy has a relatively significant growth, but from the horizontal comparison withdeveloped eastern region and the middle of some of the major agricultural province,Gansu Agriculture and the rural economy is still in a backward stage of development.Therefore, how to implement the adjustment of Gansu agricultural structure, how toplay the agricultural structure effects as well as the industrial linkage effects, how toimprove the competitiveness of agriculture, and to promote economic development inGansu is an important issue in front of us.In this thesis, the author first introduced the theory of agricultural structure;Second, analyze the current situation and the main features of this stage Gansuagricultural structure adjustment and agricultural economic growth; starting from theempirical side, using Granger causality tests and analysis a causal relationshipbetween the adjustment of agricultural structure and agricultural economic growth,and then using gray relational analysis analyzed the gray relational degrees betweenthe various departments within the agricultural, output value of agricultural structure within the farming crops and farming output value, mainly animal husbandry outputvalue of animal husbandry internal intent to identify associated with a greater degreeof some of the factors, but also through the contribution model to identify thecontribution of agriculture the largest sector, and finally, on this basis, made somecomments and suggestions on the adjustment of agricultural structure in GansuProvince.
