| Urban logistics, which belongs to regional logistics based on urban area, constitutesone of the fundamental parts of development in urban economy. The cost of logistics isextraordinarily high in some regions due to the inconvenience of transportation andinadequate spatial planning, which results in poor sales of various kinds of products andgreat losses to the local economy. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct the urban logisticsspatial planning and improve the development of the logistics industry.Nowadays, GIS software can do powerful spatial analysis. By applying spatialanalysis model of GIS to the field of logistics, the GIS software can help solve thepractice problems of logistics distribution and provide decision support. The softwarecan also assist logistics enterprises in reducing costs and improving service efficiencybased on reasonable spatial analysis and planning in logistics center location,distribution route optimization and distribution zoning.This article adopts the ArcGIS family software to develop the logistics distributionsystem based on spatial analysis model and realize some function modules. In logisticsdistribution center location module, based on a comparative analysis of the center ofgravity method and differential method, the algorithm is improved by taking the actualtraffic factors and cost factors into account. It’s convenient for the logistics companiesto choose the best and the most cost-effective logistics distribution center from thealternate locations in this module.In distribution route optimization module, the shortest path algorithm is improvedand so is the efficiency of operations, by analysis of comparing a variety of heuristicalgorithms. This module is used to calculate the optimal path from the distributioncenter to the customer in the system, resulting in reduction of distribution costs anddelivery time through the distribution route optimization.In distribution zoning module, a new algorithm is designed to divide thedistribution areas of the distribution center, which can provide the decision support forcustomers to choose an appropriate distribution center. By calculating the customers’demand in distribution area of the distribution center, the algorithm can assist inplanning the storage capacity of the distribution center and reducing the waste ofresource. In accordance with the development process of ArcEngine, the logisticsdistribution system based on GIS spatial analysis model is designed and developed withthe C#coding language. It includes basic functions such as browsing and query, as wellas logistics distribution center location module, distribution route optimization moduleand distribution zoning modules, each of which co-operates with stable performance.The application of the GIS spatial analysis model in this paper can help logisticscompanies save resource, reduce costs and improve efficiency. Some algorithms andfunctions designed in this paper constitute a good preparation for the integration of thelogistics management system. It is an inevitable trend to apply spatial planning andanalysis model to the logistics industry in the development of modern logisticstechnology. |
