Research On The Construction And Development Of Logistics Hub

Highly-developed modern logistics has a great effect on the economics development of current society. Global economic integration and regional economic integration also make regional logistics interchange more frequent, and these give higher requirements to regional logistics network and city logistics network. So how to increase the efficiency of regional logistics and city logistics has became the key problem. As the key point of regional logistics network, logistics hub city is very important to the efficiency of the whole regional network system, meanwhile the development of the city itself also require the city logistics system to be more powerful. Therefore, the research on how to make logistics hubs work better and increase the work efficiency of logistics system is of great value in practical application.This article begins at the combination point of city logistics system and regional logistics system, bases on the theories of logistics network and logistics system, and takes the city as the research object. It analyses the concept of hub and the evolving process of logistics requirements, and then puts forward the concept of logistics node and its characteristic, function and benefit, based on the analysis on the hierarchy of modern logistics node system, it gives a description on the status and function of logistics hub in modern logistics network system. Based on characteristic of logistics hub, makes a comparatively systematic research on constructing and developing mode of Logistics Hub. Finally, take the logistics hub construction in Beijing example to confirm the above theory of logistics hub construction.
