Empirical research on relationship of joint development between Shaanxi automotive and logistics industry has been studied in this paper, which will provide reference for government decision-making in joint development and it is instructive on carrying out joint development of automotive and logistics industry in Shaanxi province.Using methods of theoretical analysis and empirical research, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, the status and relationship of two industries has been discussed and described in this paper. On the theoretical basis of symbiosis theory and logistics integration theory, the concepts of automotive industry, logistics and automotive logistics were defined firstly, and then status about development of automotive and logistics industry in Shaanxi province has been described specifically. On this basis, an empirical research on relationship of joint development has been made by way of co-integration analysis and Granger causality test econometric analysis. At last, the framework and cooperation model, as the result of empirical analysis, has been constructed and proposed in order to promote relations form.Accurate judgments and grasp about the relationship of automotive and logistics development in Shaanxi province has been made in this paper. The results showed that the relationship of joint development has not been formed; there is only unilateral impact on development of logistics industry.
