Research On Industrial Technical Innovation Capability Of Liaoning Automotive Industry

Automotive industry is one of the pillar industries of the national economy inLiaoning Province, it plays an important role in the regional economic development andpromotion, and it forms the core of Shenyang Automobile Industry Cluster. The developmentand growth of the automobile industry needs continuous improvement of the corecompetitiveness. Strengthen the innovation capacity of industrial technology is an effectiveway to enhance the core competitiveness of the automotive industry.In this paper, the Liaoning auto industry is closed as the research object, it try to graspthe technological innovation capability of Liaoning automotive industry overall status by anew index system of automobile industry technology innovation capability which build on thebasis of the research of other scholars. The new index system compared with the nation’smajor auto producing provinces, to find a gap there, and then put forward some valuableconclusions.In the part of the theoretical studies, home and abroad theory summary abouttechnological innovation and industrial technology innovation ability evaluation has been got,by accessing and learning the latest research on innovation economics, industrial economics,econometrics and development economics theory and related fields, which providingtheoretical support for the study of the ability of technological innovation and development ofthe auto industry. Combined with the status quo of the technological innovation capability ofChina’s automobile industry, and according to other scholars in the industrial technologyinnovation ability evaluation of technical, it analysis qualitatively the factors that affecting thelevel of technological capability of the automobile industry, then from the six aspects ofinnovative resources investment, innovation management capacity, research capabilities,manufacturing capacity, the output capacity of the new products, and environmental supportto build the automobile industry technological innovation capability evaluation index system.In empirical research, taking advantage of built automobile industry technologyinnovation capability evaluation indicators system on the basis of the automobile industry technology innovation capability development status quo foundation of Liaoning Province,finding related indicators Yearbook of the actual data, using analytic hierarchy process todetermine each index’s weight, and getting the composite index of automobile industrytechnology innovation ability level of Liaoning Province according to the evaluation model.At the same time, compared with the technological innovation capability of the majordomestic auto production provinces, finding that automotive industry technologicalinnovation capability of Liaoning Province has a certain gap with the advanced provinces inprimarily invested in innovative resources, innovative management capabilities andenvironmental support.According to the results of quantitative analysis, combining with technologicalinnovation economics, industrial economics and innovation strategy theory,and consideringthe problems and inadequacies of the technological innovation in the automobile industry ofLiaoning Province, putting forward countermeasures to further enhance the ability ofautomobile industry technological innovation of Liaoning province from two level ofenterprise and government. The main ability to innovate suggestions are strengthen the R&Dcapacity building; improve innovation management capabilities; improve government fiscalexpenditures on science and technology activities, and the establishment of a comprehensiveinnovation support system.
