All along, city has been the industry gathering place, while countryside only develops agriculture, and services for the city, the industrial development, which forms a dual economic structure situation, like " advanced city, backward rural","city run industry, rural develop agriculture ". In today’s highly developed society, in order to follow China’s political, economic, cultural and social development, to promote the urban-rural integration and the process of urbanization has become the real needs, and also it is the18th party’s spirit, the fundament to solve the "three rural problems" and requirements and the inevitable choices to build a moderately prosperous society and a harmonious socialist society. To achieve the urban-rural integration areas is of great practical significance and far-reaching theoretical significance to eliminate the gap between urban and rural areas, the gap between workers and peasants, regional disparities, as well as to break through the urban-rural dual structure, stimulate domestic demand, promote the coordinated development of economic health.Taking Lin’an as an example, based on the analysis of socio-economic development status, the differences between urban and rural economic development, as well as the overall objective, layout, main contents and supporting policies in Lin’an, we evaluated the schemes of urban-rural integration and pointed out the problems and related strategies with the help of the document named "Zhejiang comprehensive evaluation index system and evaluation schemes of urban-rural integration"The results show that:after a period of development in Lin’an, major economic indicators, like GDP and fiscal revenue, have been greatly enhance, and now Lin’an has been listed in top one hundred economic counties (cities) in China. Taking GDP in last decade as an example, GDP grew from11.273billion yuan in2003to38.22billion in2012, the average annual growth rate was14.5%. But in comparison to the rapid growth of major economic indicators, the development of urban-rural integration is relatively stagnant in Lin’an. score of urban-rural development of Lin’an in2010is81.35points based on the the document named "Zhejiang comprehensive evaluation index system and evaluation schemes of urban-rural integration". Aaccording to four divided stages, including preliminary co-ordination (<45points), the basic co-ordination (45-65points), the overall coordination (65-85points), the full integration of (85points), urban-rural integration in Lin’an is still in the coordination stage, far away from the full integration stage. Given on this, we concluded the five existing problems and also proposed five recommendations relatively. The research on urban-rural integration in Lin’an has important theoretical and practical significance for urban-rural development and promotion in counties’economy.
