The financial crisis that broke out in2008caused the global economy struggle in recession as well as the domestic shortage of land resources, the increase of labor and the raw material costs, RMB appreciation, serious environmental pollution and other adverse factors appeared, which made the majority of enterprises in Zhejiang operations facing severe tests. However, the majority of enterprises in Zhejiang still at the bottom of the global value chain, there is an urgent need to enhance the core competitiveness through the enterprises upgrade, the upgrading path of Zhejiang enterprises becomes a common concern of the government, enterprises and academics. This thesis is from the perspective of innovation, uses the research methods of theoretical analysis, questionnaires, and a case study to research the Zhejiang enterprises upgrading path framework. The main research includes the following part:Above all, summary concerning the theory and the status quo of the enterprise upgrade research under the different perspectives, combing the relationship between the technology and management innovations and upgrading of enterprises, and also a brief of the relationship between the technology and the management innovation.Second, reasoning the necessity of the upgrade of Zhejiang enterprises in the domestic and international economic situation for their own development needs, as a motivation analyzed by the method of questionnaire survey, then the difficulties faced by the enterprises in Zhejiang during the upgrade process in the technology, management and external environmental categories. Third, following the basis of the smile curve upgrading path, implanting the innovation theory, to construct the framework of the Zhejiang enterprises upgrade path, and respectively the leading role of flow, product and function upgrading, with the perspective of technological innovation and management innovation, then describing the formation of joint coordination and integration of these two innovative, which causes Zhejiang enterprises to accomplished each step of the upgrade process, and it is also the only way to access into the cross-industry stage.Finally, verification the framework of the Zhejiang enterprises upgrade path under the innovation perspective, by analysis of the Young Automotive Group case, its upgrade path based on technological innovation and management innovation.This thesis highlights different possibilities of innovation:The one is the perspective innovation of the study. Most of documents were based on global value chains and industrial clusters perspective to study the enterprises upgrade, this paper is in the context of that Zhejiang enterprises have already participated the global production network, based on an innovative perspective to study the Zhejiang enterprises upgrade path. The other one is the research methods innovation. This paper is using a variety of research methods, mainly as theoretical analysis to export the Innovation Perspective Zhejiang upgrade path framework, the survey methods to explore the upgrade barriers faced by enterprises in Zhejiang as well as the use of case to point out the upgrade path.
