In today’s world tourism has become one of the fastest growing new industries, known as the "sunrise industry". As the largest tertiary industry, the tourism industry is not only able to improve employment and promote local economic development, but also to meet the people’s growing material and cultural needs and improve the quality of people’s lives. Therefore, many countries and regions are competing to develop the tourism industry.At the same time, as the global economic center of gravity is being transferred gradually from Europe and North America to the Asia-Pacific region, the tourism industry in high-speed, the continued growth of the process is also showing a new pattern in Europe, North America, East Asia and the Pacific,"the three pillars". It is predicted that by2015, China will become the world’s largest tourist country, the fourth largest tourist source country and the world’s largest domestic tourism market. State Council has taken tourism as a national strategic pillar industry, which will further promote the rapid growth of the tourism economy.Sichuan is one of the richest provinces of China’s tourism resources and tourism is the largest and most prominent advantage of Sichuan. In April2008, Sichuan proposed the decision of leapfrog development from the tourism resourcesProvince to the strong tourism economy province. However the sudden Wenchuan earthquake led to serious disaster in SichuanProvince, where the degree of being affected is deep and wide. In the disaster area scope and hierarchies, the province has a total of10a quake-hit,29a hard-hit and100general disaster areas. The provincial tourism economy appeared serious setback. The confidence of tourism was hit. And the capacity of tourism development was prejudiced. The tourism industry suffered heavy losses. In the post-earthquake years, the state formulated a series of policies and measures. According to "the recovery and reconstruction plan of tourism after Wenchuan earthquake", tourism was been established as the advantage industry and leading industry in the restoration and reconstruction of the disaster area, which greatly promoted the restoration and reconstruction and the tourism economic development of the disaster areas.This paper takes tourism economic revitalization and development of Wenchuan earthquake disaster areas as the object of study, for the purpose of summarize the experience and inspiration of the restoration and reconstruction of Aba Prefecture tourism, revitalize the tourism economy of Aba Prefecture and tourism revitalization and development for other quake-hit areas to provide a reference, use the theory of regional economics, tourism economics, management science and other disciplines, along to ask questions,analysis problem and solve problem.First, review and sort out the study on post-quake tourism economic development from a historical perspective. Second, describe the basic concepts and theory of the tourism economic revitalization and development, build the theoretical framework of the full text. Then, summarize the restoration and reconstruction of the earthquake disaster areas AbaPrefecture’s tourism economy. Fourth, analyze the existing problems in the development of AbaPrefecture’s tourism economy. Fifth, on the basis of previous analysis explore the cause of the problem and propose the strategic positioning for AbaPrefecture’s tourism economic revitalization and development. Finally, propose the corresponding suggestions from both the macro and micro aspects to solve the problem.Base on summarizing and absorbing the previous related research outcomes, research on the revitalization and development of AbaPrefecture’s tourism economy attempt to expand in the following aspects:First:in research perspective, this paper based on the context of the Wenchuan earthquake reconstruction and recovery and the time point of view in nearly five years’redevelopment, review the throughout stages of Aba Prefecture’s tourism economy recovery and development process using the historical point of view and summarize the experience and enlightenment of recovery and reconstruction.Second:in research theory, this paper based on carefully combing the theory of "Tourism""Management" and "Regional Economics" about the development of Earthquake disaster’s tourism development, describe the connotations and definitions of "tourism","tourism","tourism economy" and "revitalization and development" concept in detail and made a personal point of view, at the same time prose personal understanding about how to put the development of related theory with the actual of Aba Prefecture’s tourism economy revitalization and development together.Third:in research evidence, this paper explore the problems and causes of Aba Prefecture disaster tourism economic development through tourism economic analysis, then using of SWOT analysis prose the strategy and positioning of Aba Prefecture’s tourism economic revitalization and development, give in the appropriate measures and policy proposals for problems and reasons; through the analysis of the typical case of earthquake-stricken areas in Aba Prefecture, provide a reference for other quake-hit areas in the future tourism economic revitalization and development.
