Along with the national improvement of living standards, the increase of percapita income, the domestic automobile market has been popular. Fromannual sales of8.89million units in2007to19million units in2012, autoproduction increased in line. Auto sales have climbed, as much as we see theinterior production industry. But carefully analyze the structure of theproportion of vehicle production, It is not difficult to found that90%of themarket dominated by foreign joint venture brands, independent brands haveno ability to compete. Vehicle interior production the same as the proportion ofthe vehicle manufacturing, more than90%of the market share occupied bylarge multinational companies, domestic enterprises can only Strive for thesurvival in the gap.Compare multinational companies with domestic production enterprises ofStrive for the interior comparison. We found that besides the gap of money andtechnology gap, Chinese domestic Vehicle interior production enterprises stillhave the gap of the ability with OEM synchronous development, and the mostimportant of it is weak in the new development of interior product projectmanagement ability.From the five aspects of project scope management, project timemanagement, project cost management, project quality management andproject risk management in, this paper competes and analyzes the projectdevelopment process of the domestic automobile interior production enterpriseJY company and multinational large car interior production JC company, andfinds out the shortcomings and deficiencies at JY company’s the new productdevelopment project management system, and put forward the solution, finallyestablishes a suitable of the auto interior new product development projectmanagement process specifically based on JY company own developmentcharacteristics.This research starts from the relevant theoretical research, firstly introducethe new product development and project management related theory and thesignificance. Secondly, the domestic and foreign auto interior the presentsituation of the development of project management are summarized, and the research object of this research-JY company project management areanalyzed in detail. Finally, raise the solutions of problems existing in JYcompany interior. That combines the IOS/TS16949standard with the businessprocess reengineering theory, draw up a whole new set of JY company interiorproduct development project management process.The process not only provides a basis of the project management for JYcompany, but also it will provide a set of process documents, and throughcontinuously improving, wipe off the process deficiency and optimize theprocess. This new type of interior product development project managementprocess will improve the production efficiency of JY Company effectively andincrease the company’s core competitiveness. The JY Company stands out inthe numerous car interior production enterprises, to provide a new direction fordomestic automobile manufacturing industry.
