Since its accession to the WTO, as has been enjoying "national treatment" tobaccocompanies began to actively looking for a can improve the comprehensive competitive-ness of the industry and also can adapt to the external environment change of the effec-tive solution. Along with the Chinese economy and the world economy in the alignmentof the steady increase of China’s domestic most of the industries and enterprises beganto become more involved in the competition of the global market environment. WhileChina tobacco as a national exclusive specializes in industry, because has been protec-tion policy, leading to the industry talents thinking relative block,"relatives" phenome-non in the industry generally. The staff to cohesion know relatively light, to the enter-prise performance and other modern means of examination showed more repulsive phe-nomenon. According to the urgent need to reverse this situation of industry present situ-ation, the author thinks that from the perspective of human resources, through the analy-sis of leadership style, find the influence factors of group cohesion, and improve per-formance.This article analyzed the tobacco industry leadership styles, backgrounds and cul-tural qualities of the tobacco industry employees, the general cohesion, cohesion statusof tobacco workers, and performance between the various groups, the purpose is to findthe impact of leadership behavior on group cohesion, in order to find the core build en-terprise effective way to competitiveness. In the new round of tobacco competition, onlyto build a people-oriented tobacco groups, in order to face the avalanche of globaliza-tion, in order to pinpoint their location, in order to meet the challenges of the realstrength of the business of foreign enterprises.
