In the era of knowledge economy,technological innovation has become a great boost to the development of national economy.Major Scientific Research Projects are projects set up to solve major technical problems,which play an important role in promoting technological innovation and supporting national strategy.But in real situations,the cooperation state of major scientific research projects is not optimistic.The team members in Major Scientific Research team play individually,unable to achieve the expected synergy,leading to the failure of team performance.As chief leader of major project team,Major Scientific Research Project leader is responsible for a series of processes such as team formation,personnel selection,guiding conception,division of labor,process supervision and so on.The leadership behaviors have heavy impact on the effective implementation of major projects and the acquisition of major scientific results,but the relationship of leadership behaviors and team performance will be influenced by other factors.Therefore,this paper proposes such a research question: what path does Major Scientific Research Project leader take to influence team performance?In the project team,The leadership behaviors acts to team performance through team members.This paper focuses on the internal process of the team,constructing a theoretical model between the four groups of leadership behavior,team communication,intellectual property rules and cooperative performance,and explores the path of the leadership behavior affecting the cooperative performance.In this paper,major scientific research teams in Universities of Guangdong province are selected as the research object,and a questionnaire survey is conducted.The reliability and validity of the returned questionnaires were tested by SPSS statistical software,and the hypotheses were tested by correlation analysis and regression analysis.The empirical results show that the communication between team members plays an intermediary role in the relationship between leader behavior and team performance,and the intellectual property rules play a regulatory role in the process of leadership behavior influence team performance through team communication.Finally,according to the conclusion of the empirical study and the practice of the project team,some suggestions are putting forward to improve the performance of the team cooperation in major scientific research projects,establishing fair and reasonable rules of intellectual property rights and good communication mechanism.
