Taking Linxia as an example, this paper is to analyze peasant household’s behavior in land transfer and internal factors in northwest nationalities region. In accordance with the questionnaire’s result of384peasant households in Linxia, the author uses the means of descriptive statistical analysis to summarize the current status in two ways of quantity and area, to analyze the process in four ways of mode, origin and destination, protocol and deadlines, land use, then to find out the problems of peasant household’s behavior in land transfer. Based on behavioral decision theory, the author analyze the correlation between internal factors and their behaviors in land transfer and explain the internal reasons leading to the problems in the four-step model:identify and question traditional Logistic model and its assumptions----summarize households’own characteristics in land transfer----select and define variables----estimate and analyze the model of land transfer out and into. The author came to a conclusion. In northwest ethnic regions, the frequency of land transfer was high, but there was significant difference among the peasant households’behaviors in land transfer. The level of land transfer was low. There mainly existed four aspects of problems, such as small-scale, narrow range, lack of standardization and low-income. Internal factors impacting on peasant households’ behaviors were different. The mechanism of action was accordance with the hypothesis, but there existed some difference between them, even being opposite. Finally, the author put forward relevant policy and suggestions:strengthening the concept of land transfer and breaking the boundaries of land transfer; increasing the propaganda and education of legal system and standardizing peasant households’ behaviors in land transfer; reinforcing education and vocational training and improving farmers’employment ability; guiding cooperation between the enterprises and cooperatives, and increasing the income of land transfer; enhancing subsidies to agricultural equipments and promoting peasants’production and operation of mechanization of agriculture.
