Under the background of encouraging SMEs’entrepreneurship era, how companies enhance their entrepreneurial performance becomes an important issue. To the question, this study base the leadership style,using the ambidexterity as the intermediate,and through case study, questionnaire and other management research methods, making use of SPSS17.0, AMOS7.0and other statistical software to analyze the data collected by questionnaire, discussed the impact of different types of leadership on the entrepreneurial performance in detail.This study had four major conclusions:firstly, there is significant causality between transformational leadership and explorative innovation, there is significant causality between transactional leadership and exploitative innovation. Secondly, there is significant causality between explorative innovation and corporate performance, exploitative innovation and corporate performance, however, the effect by explorative innovation is more stronger. Thirdly, exploitative innovation play a mediating role between transactional leadership and entrepreneurial performance, explorative innovation takes partial mediating role between transformational leadership and long-term performance, plays a mediating role between transformational leadership and financial performance,plays a mediating role between transformational leadership and innovation performance. Fourthly, under high degree of environmental dynamism, transformational leadership leads to better explorative innovation, and explorative innovation leads to better entrepreneurial performance.This study has certain theoretical and practical significance. In theory, it provides some reference for the study in leadership style impact on entrepreneurial performance through different innovation styles. In practice, this study guide companies on how to build different leadership styles to form different innovation styles, and finally improve their corporate performance.
