Entrepreneurial activity, as one of most important engines for national economy development, plays an important role in increasing revenue, improving employment and promoting economic growth. However, SMEs have a high failure rate because of its scale, capital disadvantage, management problems etc. Rencent researches in organization ambidexterity show that the ability to engage in exploration and exploitation at the same time becomes the key to the start-up’s success, i.e., being organization ambidexterity. Entrepreneurs as the guide of the imformation, decide the strategic direction of the enterprise, plays a key role in pursuing organization ambidexterity. Especially, the social capital of the entrepreneurs is the pivotal factor to achieve ambidexterity and lead to success. Therefore, this paper from a social capital view, combined organization ambidexterity theory, analyzed how entrepreneurs’ social capital influences enterprise performance through organization ambidexterity, and put forward the theoretical hypothesis model. By using the188questionnaires collected from Changsha, Shenzhen and other places of China, tested how the entrepreneurs’ social capital and organizational ambidexterity influence enterprise performance, and explored the mediate role of the organization ambidexterity between entrepreneurs’ social capital and enterprise performance.The empirical results show that the entrepreneurs’ internal social capital and external social capital both have significantly positive influence on enterprise performance; organization ambidexterity has a significantly positive influence on enterprise performance and plays a mediating role between entrepreneurs’social capital and enterprise performance.
