Abstract:With the rapidly technological development and the strengthening cooperation of regional economy and technology, technology innovation diffusion also grows fast and has become an important part of the economic activities in the enterprises and regions. And it has become a basic and main trend for a region to accelerate its development of economy and technology by technology innovation diffusion. High-tech zones, as the anchor of regional economic development, are important ways and means to improve the overall innovation capability within many regions, and play an important role in regional and even the whole country’s economy. Constructions of high-tech zones in our country start relatively late, and the development is not mature enough. Though the enterprises have a certain ability to innovate, it lacks an effective system for technology innovation and diffusion within the zone, which leads the overall level of innovation in high-tech zones unimproved. Therefore, the study of the technology innovation diffusion in high-tech zones, not only is conducive to the improvement of innovation capability and core competitiveness for the enterprises within the zones, but also has great significance for advancing the economic development of the region.Firstly in this paper an overview of the theoretical and empirical results by current scholars about innovation networks, enterprises’ absorptive capacity, knowledge overflow and technology innovation diffusion is made by reading, analyzing and summarizing literatures both in and abroad. On this basis, a theoretical hypothesis model for the study is put forward, and the required data is obtained by questionnaire survey in five national-level high-tech zones within Hunan Province. Then based on the descriptive statistical analysis of the collected questionnaire, software SPSS15.0is used to analyze the reliability of the sample and AMOS7.0to analyze validity and structural equation model, and the proposed hypotheses are analyzed based on validation results. The conclusions drawn in this paper include:(1) innovation network relations, enterprises’absorptive capacity and knowledge overflow have a positive effect on technology innovation diffusion;(2) innovation network has a positive effect on both enterprises’absorptive capacity and knowledge overflow; and enterprises’absorptive capacity has a positive effect on knowledge overflow. At last, some policy and managing recommendations for high-tech zones and the enterprises within are raised and the directions for future research are predicted based on the empirical results.
