An Empirical Study On The Family Business Model And Enterprises Efficiency

From1978, China opened our country’s door, the family business after thirty years of development has achieved a certain degree of development, and become a considerable part of the family business has become the leader in the industry has a certain scale.But compared with developed market economy countries family enterprise on a smaller scale, backward technology, and the "three generations" phenomenon in the development process of Chinese family firms behave exceptionally prominent, staged a tragicomedy constantly repeat in family enterprises. Ignore the study of family business for a long time, one major drawback is the Chinese academia, is only in recent years, academic circles began to attach importance to family business problems and cause some dispute.About family business and the study of the representative of the life cycle, is the management of the enterprise life cycle stage long may encounter problems of research, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures. Throughout the literature research, however, did not mention the enterprise life cycle various stages of the decision problem. Decision-making is the core of the management and decision-making model and efficiency directly about the survival of the enterprise.In this paper on the basis of extensive literature collection and analysis of decision model is defined, and the family firm decision model based on enterprise life cycle theory, explains the characteristics of family business decision-making model under different life cycle. And through analysis of the continuous changes of family decision-making models in different stages of the life cycle, found in the family decision-making process in the enterprise is not suitable for all the family enterprise "universal decision model, there is no suitable for family business decision model of each development stage "cure-all". On the basis of family enterprises based on family selection and the development process of the change of internal and external conditions that meet the needs of decision model, the initial-authoritarian parents decision model; Growth period, the separation of the scientific and democratic decision-making model; Mature, professional scientific decision-making model; Recession-centralized paternalistic decision model. Through the empirical analysis of the three decision model found that the different life cycle stage of the decision-making methods have significant difference, and in different stages of life cycle using corresponding decision model of efficiency is significantly higher than other decision model.
