Tourist industry has highly related to culture industry recently. Tourism industry has gained rapid progress by absorbing nutrients from Chinese traditional culture. The5,000-year history and culture promotes the transformation and upgrading of tourism; as well as the sustainable development of tourism resources. Traditional opera culture is an important part of Chinese cultural resources for its fuii of folk characteristics and entertainment effect. That’s also support the ideal that it is a good ideal to deep explore and develop opera cultural tourism. In this paper,a preliminary ideal for development of the opera tourism will put forward by taking Wuju opera as an example and by referring to relevance theories. Meanwhile, the author aims to attract more customers who are interested in Wuju opera through some special products and accelerate local tourism.Firstly, this paper will analyze the significance of studying and researching Wuju tourism product. The author believes the development of Wuju opera tourism product can make it easy for people to understand Jinhua’s cultural background. Wuju opera’s long history makes it worth exploring. Besides, although some historical factors limited Wuju opera’s formalization development, Wuju opera still remains some unique chapters and its own performance style. All in all, in the aspect of culture background, Wuju tourism has a broad development space, and is worth exploring.Secondly, further exploiting Wuju Opera tourism product makes contributes to transformation and upgrading of tourism. At present, Chinese tourism market is consisting of recreational travel, farmhouse travel, business travel and so on. However, a great number of customers choose overseas tours because these traditional travel modes unable to satisfy customers’ growing demands. The author believes in some degree the further exploiting and design of Wuju opera tourism can make up for the current disadvantage of single mode. Also, it provides more opportunities for travellers.In addition, this paper will take references from RMP, which is the unification of resources, market and product. Deeper analysis of the tourism resources, market situation and product development of Wuju cultural tourism will be taken by the author according to the RMP. Then, the author will raise some new ideals and steps about the development of Wuju opera cultural tourism. The ultimate goal is to design a market-oriented Wuju opera product.
