A Company’s Raw Materials Inventory Management Strategy

As the new theory of supply chain inventory management putting forward,provide effective solutions for the enterprise to inventory problem.This paper studies A company’s problems from the perspective of supply chain inventorymanagement, improve the accuracy of the demand forecast of A company, make thecompany’s suppliers with accurate and reliable theoretical in inventory management, toachieve good effect of the rational allocation of enterprise resources and reduce the inventorycost, make the supply and demand to obtain the biggest economic benefits in the supplychain.Firstly, from the characteristics of the whole supply chain, this paper introduces theconcept of vendor management inventory, joint management inventory and the influencefactors of safety stock; Second, analyses A company’s problems and the current operatingstatus, the form of existing prediction, source and the influencing factors, then explore thedemand forecasting steps, using the analysis and prediction of time series model to thespecific requirements, improve the accuracy of demand forecasting the characteristics of thesupply chain, this paper introduces the concept of vendor managed inventory, joint stockmanagement thoughts and the influence factors of safety stock; At last, Using the ABCclassification of inventory management, set up safety stock, EOQ model analysis, todetermine A company supplier order mode and inventory level.
