Vietnam-China Trade History, Current Situation And Future Development Tactics Research

The two countries of Vietnam and China have a long-standing friendly neighbouring relation and traditional friendship between the two peoples passed from generation to generation. The Vietnam-China friendship in spirit of "both comradeship and brotherhood relation" has been devotedly developed by the preceding leaders of the two countries in the new century and inherited to be incessantly flourished from time to time. On basis of concept of16golden words i.e."friendly neighbourliness, multi-faceted cooperation, long-term stability, future-oriented vision", the leaders of the two countries have worked out "four goods" spirit, namely good neighbours, good friends, good comrades and good partners for the purpose of developing Vietnam-China relation in line with comprehensive strategic cooperation.Both Vietnam and China have same concerns and common benefit in respect of the regional and international matters. Further development of the friendly tradition and cooperative relations between the two countries absolutely conforms to the basic desires and long-term benefits of the two peoples, bringing the peace, stability and prosperity for the region.Both Vietnam and China follow the socialism, have similarities and are trying our best efforts to socialist orientation and market-base economic institution. In recent years, the leaders of the two countries have paid mutual visit to each other, enhanced the mutual understanding and incessantly strengthened political field and strategic cooperation. The bilateral cooperation in respect of economic, commercial, scientific and technological aspects has been continuously boosted. On the equal and mutual benefit principle, the two sides have entered into several cooperative documentations, for the purpose of multifaceted and intensive development of economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries. In November2006, the Governments of the two countries signed the "Bilateral Treaty on expansion and intensive development of economic and commercial cooperation" and "Diplomatic memorandum on cooperation for development of two corridors-one belt". In2008, the leaders of the two countries decided to raise the relations between Vietnam China to multifaceted strategic cooperation partners. On this basis, both sides have researched and formulated the "Planning for development of economic and commercial cooperation for the period of2012-2016between the Governments of Vietnam-China"Over the past20years, the economic and commercial relations between the two countries have developed in good trend; bilateral economic and commercial cooperation has developed in line with multi-fields, multifaceted aspects and diversification. At the same time, several aspects with its own advantages may support each other with great potential for economic and commercial cooperation. The Governments of the two countries have always attached much importance to and maintained the economic development at rapid and stable growth rate.The "Two corridors-one belt" cooperation and signing for implementation of the "Planning for development of economic and commercial cooperation for the period of2012-2016between the Governments of Vietnam-China" have clearly shown the guidelines for development of economic and commercial relations between Vietnam and China, enhancing the bilateral cooperation at rapid and sustainable speed with road-map, expanding cooperation fields, improving qualification and quality of cooperation, improving and balancing the bilateral commerce. Implement the advantageous edges to support each other in spirit of mutual benefits, promoting the socio-economy of the two countries to be developed in a healthy and sustainable manner.
