Based on the realistic dilemma of Company S in risk management of new product development, the article proposes a more effective approach to risk management of new product development. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method is good at enterprise product development risk control in detail and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) method specializes in corporate risk control at the macro. The risk management approach in the article will combine QFD and BSC method. Single project risk management will rise to the level of corporate strategy and single project risk management and performance measurement systems will combine to enhance the success rate of new product development project in order to eventually achieve corporate strategic goals.The risk management approach to make the new product research and development projects focused on the realization of corporate strategic goals. The method proposed a set of systematic steps that can enable us to identify, assess, analyze and monitor the risk in the entire project development cycle, and propose action plan to maximize the reduction of R&D risks and improve the ability of enterprises to cope with risks.The main idea of this paper is as follows:(1) Systematically expounded risk management, QFD, BSC related theories.(2) Description the company’s overall situation, analysis focused on the main problems of risk management in new product development of Company S, pointed out that the lack of scientific management methods of risk management in new product development to make sustainable development into trouble.(3) For Company S status, the paper uses QFD and BSC combination method in the new product development risk management, puts forward specific applications and detailed implementation steps, and gives evaluation results of monitoring key risks after the implementation of the application program. Combined the actual risk monitoring data and R&D management control cost data, this paper carry out multivariate linear regression analysis using SPSS tools to identify key risk factors that affect R&D management cost. Finally, we combine monitor and action plans in the application program to optimize the risk areas to control costs, targeted to strengthen risk control.
