Functional Analysis Of The Administrative Department For Industry And Commerce In The Food Safety Regulation

There is an old saying that’Food is god for the people’. Food, as the most impor tant elements of human beings, not only play an indispensable role in the nature life, but also support all social development and progress. The safety of the food become i ncreasingly important in modern society, it’s both related to the health of people and t he stability of the society. The abuse of some harmful chemical elements, the melamine found in "Sanlu" milk powder, the use of the waste oil, the use of drug clenbuterol in pigs which are only a few of the safety problems of food, that no one can overlook, and must emphasize it as much as possible. The central and local governments increase food safety supervision, the food safety issue become the most important economic work, to ensure the safety of domestic consumption.Thanks to the reactions of the government to prevent these safety problems of fo od from appearing, Food safety has improved in recent years, but the overall situation is still not optimistic. It shows many shortcomings and defects on the supervision of food safety. The central government is also mulling a new mechanism among various ministries to improve efficiency in food safety supervision.This paper takes Nanchang city Jiangxi province as an example, based on the local administration for industry and commerce, the circulation area of food safety supervision and the laws and regulations are introduced in this paper, defined the administrative department for Industry and commerce in the circulation area of food safety supervision for the location from the division of functions and the working range, point out potential issue of food safety supervision of the central and local supervisory organizations, studying from the advance management experience, combine with the actual situation, under the guidance of Super-Ministry System, investigated some new theory and method for modern food safety supervision.
