| Entrepreneurship is a hot topic. It can not only solve the employment problem, but also promote economic development. College students are the country’s elites and tomorrow’s sun, while ethnic minority college students are a special elite group. China is a multi-ethnic country, entrepreneurship for ethnic minority college students is crucial to solve employment issue, promote economic development in ethnic minority areas and maintain stability in border areas. An increasingly competitive social environment for ethnic minority college students’ entrepreneurship put forward higher requirements, so the research on ethnic minority college students’ entrepreneurial personality, and application of it to develop vocational education and mental health services help enhance business confidence and ethnic minority students’ entrepreneurial skills.This paper studies southwest ethnic minority students’ entrepreneurial personality structure and characteristics, and examines individual differences in entrepreneurial personality, so as to provide theoretical reference for ethnic minority college students’ employability and entrepreneurial education and mental health services.First of all, this paper conducts a literature review of domestic and international researches on entrepreneurial personality. Then, this article makes theoretical conception of ethnic minority college students’ entrepreneurial personality by reading a lot of literature about ethnic minority entrepreneurs, classifying and organizing the personality adjectives. Finally, we verify the theoretical concept of ethnic minority college students’ entrepreneurial personality, and analyze individual differences in entrepreneurial personality by self-stated questionnaire, field study, and give some positive suggestions and recommendations for vocational education and mental health services for ethnic minority students.Through the research, we draw the following conclusions. Ethnic minority students’ entrepreneurial personality includes five dimensions:openness, innovation, responsibility, self-confidence and risk-taking. Difference test shows significant difference in ethnic groups, sex, major and background. Innovation. responsibility and risk-taking reach significant level in ethnic groups, responsibility and confidence in sex, responsibility and risk-taking in major, but there is no significant difference as fas as family background is concerned. |
