Entrepreneurship,as the most dynamic part of economic development,is the main driving force for improving a country’s economic vitality and innovation.College students have profound professional knowledge, relying on the rich college education resources and national entrepreneurship support policies, should undoubtedly be the most potential group for innovation and entrepreneurship. However, the process of entrepreneurship is full of risks, university students are not rich in social experience and capital is not abundant,so university students face many challenges. In reality, all links of entrepreneurship education, practice and incubation are segmented.Colleges, governments, venture capitalists and intermediaries build their own "mini-systems" according to their own agendas, and the sharing of resources and collaboration are obviously insufficient to support entrepreneurial behavior and improve performance.A good entrepreneurial ecosystem can promote the adaptive evolution of the system itself and the symbiosis of entrepreneurial populations, effectively supporting university entrepreneurs to integrate and utilize resources, seize entrepreneurial opportunities and improve entrepreneurial performance. The main work and conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Taking the current status quo of entrepreneurship and the dilemma of entrepreneurship among college students as a basement, the author analyze the role mechanism among entrepreneurial ecological community, entrepreneurial ecological environment and college students’ entrepreneurial performance based on entrepreneurship theory, ecosystem theory, symbiosis theory, triple helix theory and other related theories, and construct a conceptual model of the influence of entrepreneurial ecological community and entrepreneurial ecological environment on college students’ entrepreneurial performance.Entrepreneurial populations, entrepreneurial ecological communities and entrepreneurial ecological environments and their interactions constitute the entrepreneurial ecosystem.Entrepreneurial populations, entrepreneurial ecological communities and entrepreneurial ecological environment have been newly defined, entrepreneurial populations are a collection of similar entrepreneurs in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, entrepreneurial ecological communities include government agencies, universities, investment financial institutions, incubation intermediaries and related enterprises, entrepreneurial ecological environment includes economic, technological, cultural and natural environment, they bear different in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.functions and have important connections and implications for each other.(2)Propose research hypotheses based on related theoretical models, and the structural equation model is used for empirical analysis to test the influence of entrepreneurial ecological community and entrepreneurial ecological environment on the entrepreneurial performance of college students. The entrepreneurial ecological community and the entrepreneurial ecological environment significantly affect the entrepreneurial performance of college students, but there are significant differences in the influence of relevant factors on the entrepreneurial performance of college students. The positive influence of government services on the operation of university incubation, investment financial services, incubation intermediaries and related enterprises is significant;the positive influence of university incubation, investment financial services, incubation intermediaries and related enterprises on the performance of university entrepreneurship is significant;the positive influence of university incubation, investment financial services, incubation intermediaries and related enterprises on the performance of university entrepreneurship is significant between government services and the performance of university entrepreneurship. There are some mediating effects between entrepreneurial performance;there is a negative influence of government services on college students’ entrepreneurial performance;the economic environment and technological environment have a significant positive influence on college students’ entrepreneurial performance, while the cultural environment and natural environment do not have a significant influence on college students’ entrepreneurial performance.(3)On the basis of exploring the impact of entrepreneurial ecosystem on the entrepreneurial performance of college students and analyzing the suitability of college entrepreneurs to survive in the entrepreneurial ecosystem,an evaluation index system of the impact of entrepreneurial ecosystem on the entrepreneurial performance of college students is constructed from the entrepreneurial ecological community and the entrepreneurial ecological environment, and an evaluation and comparison analysis is carried out.The data from Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Beijing,Shanghai,Hebei,Henan and other provinces(cities)are used to evaluate the impact of the entrepreneurial ecosystem on the entrepreneurial performance of college students using the gray correlation method. It showed that the overall situation of the entrepreneurial ecosystem’s impact on the entrepreneurial performance of college students was good, and the relevant entrepreneurial ecological communities showed positive impact on the entrepreneurial performance of college students. However, there are significant differences in performance between regions, and the correlation coefficient values for the impact of entrepreneurial ecosystems on university students’ entrepreneurial performance in Henan Province are low,and the overall level and the level of the main dimensions also low.(4)Propose the optimal paths and policies for the entrepreneurial ecosystem to influence college students’ entrepreneurship.Based on the current plight and high failure rate of student entrepreneurship,it is argued that the current focus is not simply to stimulate and increase students’ "entrepreneurial intentions" and increase the number of student entrepreneurs, but to identify symbiotic evolutionary goals and synergistic paths to optimize the entrepreneurial ecosystem, from the entrepreneurial ecological community, the entrepreneurial ecological environment, the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In order to improve the success rate of college students’ entrepreneurship, the theoretical guidance and practical support are provided for the in-depth research and practice of university students’ entrepreneurship, and the influence of the entrepreneurial ecosystem on the performance of university students’ entrepreneurship is completed with "mechanism verification + evaluation analysis + path(policy)design".The entire optimization mechanism has been studied. The main innovations and contributions of this study are as follows.(1)Clarified the connotation and connection of entrepreneurial ecosystem, entrepreneurial ecological community and entrepreneurial population, and pointed out in particular that college student entrepreneurs are only one type of entrepreneurial populations.Previous studies have often proposed concepts and research ideas such as migrant worker entrepreneurial ecosystem or university student entrepreneurial ecosystem out of the need to emphasize the research subject, thus easily leading to the misalignment of relevant basic concepts and logical relationships. This study explores the relationship between social entrepreneurial ecosystems-entrepreneurial ecological communities-entrepreneurial populations based on symbiotic and synergistic theories, and provides the correct logical line of thought for studying the influence mechanism of entrepreneurial ecosystems on college students’ entrepreneurial performance and their evaluation.(2)Reveal the influence mechanism of entrepreneurial ecosystem on the entrepreneurial performance of college students, and comprehensively investigate the influence on the entrepreneurial performance of college students from the dimension of entrepreneurial ecological community and entrepreneurial ecological environment.Existing studies mainly explore the impact on college students’ entrepreneurial performance from specific dimensions such as entrepreneurial learning, entrepreneurial opportunities, and resource utilization. This study proposes that the ups and downs of university students’ entrepreneurial performance can be placed in an open and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem, which can be explored comprehensively and deeply to enrich the theoretical assumptions of relevant studies and determine the impact through empirical evidence, thus providing a pioneering research framework and a feasible research proposal.(3)Build an evaluation system for the impact of entrepreneurial ecosystem on the entrepreneurial performance of college students, and pioneeringly propose ecological appropriateness as a guiding principle.Existing studies mainly focus on traditional dimensions of entrepreneurial performance, such as market share and profit return, and lack the appropriateness of relevant participants from the perspective of entrepreneurial ecosystem. This study finds that different types of entrepreneurial populations have different adaptations for survival in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, which will affect their entrepreneurial performance. The results of evaluating the ecological suitability of college students’ entrepreneurial populations will be an important indicator for considering current and future predictions of their entrepreneurial performance, especially suitable for evaluating the entrepreneurial performance of college students in the early stage of entrepreneurship.(4)The grey relation model is used to measure the different effects of the entrepreneurial ecosystem on the entrepreneurial performance of university students to overcome the limitation of insufficient data. The mathematical and statistical analysis methods commonly used in traditional evaluation require samples to obey a typical probability distribution, with large data quality requirements and computation volumes. The grey relation method can overcome the shortcomings of insufficient statistical data, fuzzy distribution patterns and strong human subjectivity, and is more suitable for evaluating and comparing the overall and sub-dimensional conditions of the survival suitability of entrepreneurial populations of university students in different regions under the existing conditions,so as to provide empirical evidence for the effective improvement of the entrepreneurial performance of university students and the formulation of differential optimization policies. |
