With the development of economic globalization and information, the supply chain system is getting more and more complex. In order to survive and develop, supply chain members are taking measures to reduce redundancy, such as lean productions and zeroinventories. This reduces the supply chain operating costs and improves the supply chain agilities, but also increases the vulnerabilities. Facing with the disruption risks that are of small occurrence probability but great damage capability, any failure of enterprises can lead to the paralysis of the supply chain, which brings the whole supply chain network great losses. So making a more flexible supply chain network under disruption risks is of important theoretical significance and application value. As an important part of the supply chain, distribution network is attracting more attention these years. Considering the varyingdegrees, forms and characteristics bought by disruption scenarios, based on analysing and summarizing the past related literatures this paper studies a three-level distribution network in which single and multiple facilities may failure.Based on the above research ideas, this paper is organized as follows.(1)We expound the research back ground and research significance, and propose the content and framework of this paper.(2)We make a literature review of resilient distribution network design, which includes supply chain risk management, resilient supply chain, distribution network and inventory control strategy.(3)We make an overview on theoretical framework of resilient distribution network design, which includes supply chain risk management, distribution network resilience as well as the inventory control theory. (4)We established two resilient distribution network models according to the failure scenarios. The first model takes the manufacturer-distribution-demand point three-echelon supply network as the research objective, and it is based on the impact of the risk disruption to divide scenarios. The second model is based on the form of the risk disruption to divide scenarios. Finally, the models are validated from numerical analysis, and the sensitivity analysis also provides an important reference value for the distribution network optimization design.(5)We summarize the main conclusions, indicates the defects, and conclusions and directions for further research are also provided.
