Study On The Patent Trading Project Management System In Biotechnology Company

The21st century is the century of life science, and also is the age of knowledge economy. The global biological science presents its explosive development. With the rapid development of the human genome project, bioinformatics, biochip technology and drug screening technology, many kinds of new biological technology have been widely used in medical, biological detection, biological pharmaceutical, biological treatment, environmental protection and many other fields, and have expressed profound effects. Biotechnology has been considered as the most hopeful technology which is able to take foot in the competition and gain a top position in China. Biotechnology patents are the property and foundation for enterprises to improve market competitiveness, but its products always cost long time and large investment from research development to production and marketing periods, and the risk is very high. Furthermore, the biological technology patents need to be translated into commodities in colleges and scientific research institutes, so patent trading has become a popular method. In China, most enterprise’s backwardness in intellectual property management, coupled with the lack of professional intellectual property manager, needs professional guidance and effective management in the process of patent technology trading. How to guarantee biotechnology companies patent trading cooperate smoothly, how to evaluation the patent trading project can achieve expected cooperation, not only is necessary for biotechnology development, but also is a new topic in the intellectual property management.Firstly, this thesis analyses the background and significance of the patent technology trading management system to biotechnology enterprises, and describes the characteristics of biotechnology industry, intellectual property management, project management, process management theory, laying a theoretical foundation for building management system. In the second part, it analyses, for example, that the patent trade stage a series of problems under the traditional intellectual property management, and analyses the causes of the problem in a biotechnology company, which illustrates the necessity of patent technology trading stage management in biotechnology enterprises. Based on a biological technology enterprise management mode and characteristics, this thesis use the theory of process management, project management and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to build the patent technology trading project process management system, the relevant security system and related performance evaluation system. According to the verification results on patent trading project in a biotechnology company, it concludes the factors which need to be improved to help enterprises improve the level of its intellectual property rights transaction management.This thesis has carried out research and innovation on patent technology trading project management on the perspective of enterprise, and provides a feasible reference for other enterprise intellectual property rights transaction management.
