Management of the academic study of organizational conflict has been going on for half a century, from the motives of the conflict, classification, process,management, utility and so on to make a deep research about conflict management, consensus has been reached, but the impact of the conflict on organizational performance also has some controversy. Coser (1956) first proposed that conflict had a potential positive impact on organizational performance, academics did a lot of research to address the problem, the results show that the relationship between conflict there was a negative impact on organizational performance, and a certain degree of task conflict (herein definedas benign conflict) and organizational performance. At the same time, scholars think it impacts by objective factors, the organizational environment, personnel structure, and does not necessarily apply to all organizations.Departure from the empirical study, selected private enterprises in China to study, for benign conflict empirical studies of the impact on China’s private enterprises performance. Collation of existing literature on conflict management, combined with the statusquo of Chinese and foreign research, take a qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. First, combing the relevant literature, about the "benign conflicts incentives among benign conflict, Enterprise Performance theoretical assumptions, and then combined with the theoretical assumptions and existing scale design China’s private enterprises benign conflict Select a the Chongqing region’s private enterprises and private enterprises performance relationship questionnaire, last sample for research through the network questionnaire method, a total of233valid questionnaires, this research assumptions related argument by SPSS17.0.By quantitative analysis of the study data, the results of this study show:(1) benignconflict is a normal phenomenon exists in private enterprises;(2) benign conflicting incentives, workforce diversity, democratic leadership, flatter organizational structure opencorporate culture with benign conflict significantly positive correlation;(3) benign conflict with private enterprises performance significantly with a positive correlation;(4) democratic leadership way flat organization structure, an open corporate culture and private enterprises performance significantly with a positive correlation;(5) the diversified private enterprises performance of staff is related assumptions failed to get the certificate.Finally, test results based on the above assumptions on the operation of private enterprises in China made the following recommendations:(1) stimulate benign conflicts to enha nce democratic performance;(2) to maintain an appropriate workforce diversity;(3) thedemocratic style of leadership is the key to enhance the performance of private enterprises.
