With the growing number of private enterprises, private economics’ contribution tothe development of national economy is significantly growing and the privateenterprise’s market position is gradually rising. On the other hand, the corporate culturehas a very important influence on the enterprise development, of which we should beaware, the enterprise organizational culture may not promote the organizationperformance, but harm under certain conditions. Only with some attributes of culture,will be organizational culture helpful for organizational performance improving.Therefore, the research of the relationship between organizational culture andorganizational performance research of private enterprise, as well as the recognition ofprivate enterprises organizational performance are conducive to the characteristics oforganizational culture improving, which also have important reference and guidancesignificance for the cultural construction of private enterprises and private enterprisesevergreen.Theoretical and empirical researches are used in this paper to study the relationshipbetween the organizational culture and organizational performance. In theory, thoroughanalyzing the Kotter&Heskett’s(1992)“theory of adoption to the enterprise culture”,Cameraon&Quinn’s (1998)“type of corporate culture theory”, and Denison’s“characteristics of organization culture”, this paper construct a theoretical model of therelationship between private enterprises organizational culture and organizationalperformance based on the characteristics of private enterprises. In empirical aspect,questionnaire is obtained according to the existing mature table and the characteristicsof private enterprises, which regarded private enterprises employees as the researchobject. Through the statistical analysis of the questionnaire data, the relationshipbetween organizational culture and organizational performance are tested. In addition,in order to make the research more targeted, this paper analyzes the different types ofindustry and different stages of development.Through the research, this paper has a thorough analysis of the characteristics oforganizational culture of private enterprises, which is the relationship with types oforganizational culture, the consistency of organizational culture, the strength oforganizational culture and the organization’s long, short-term performance. Through therelationship, this paper discovers the corporate culture characteristics which have asignificant role in promoting the long-term organization performance. Furthermore,combining with the results of statistical analysis, pertinence suggestions of privateenterprise in different types of industries and different stages of development are put forward, in order to provide some reference for the private enterprise long-termdevelopment and evergreen.
