Guizhou Province Industrial Agglomeration Trends And Facilitate The Analysis Of Industrial Competitiveness

Since60s of last century, international capital began to valid from this country tothat more and more frequent and clear. This competitive phenomena now appears in somuch countries and put deep effect to the industry competition of this distract or thiscountry. It began to play more and more important role. Around the world, we can seethat so many countries and districts have competitive industry cluster economic.The phenomena of industry cluster began to appear at the end of80s last century.At present, Chinese industry cluster begin to take shape。 Since the Reform and Open,Chinese middle and small enterprises increased rapidly, Enterprise organizationnetwork and industry cluster are more and more obvious. Acquiring industrycompetition is the aim of developing industry, so analyzing the relationship of theindustry cluster and industry competition is so necessary and important.By adopting the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysismethod, this paperuses statistics, econometric software such as SPSS and eviews tomeasure the degree of industrial concentration and industrial competitiveness of Thesecond industry in Guizhou province. The results showed that the exploitation of coalwashing industry, beverage manufacturing industry, tobacco products, electricity, heatproduction and supply industry represented by the resources industry have high degreeof industrial concentration, and Transportation equipment manufacturing, electricmachinery and equipment manufacturing, communications equipment, computer andother electronic equipment manufacturing industry as a representative of fund, thetechnology-intensive industry concentration degree is low. The results also showed thattobacco products, electricity, heat production and supply industry, the exploitation ofcoal washing industry and beverage manufacturing industry represented by theindustry are with strong competitiveness. In conclusion, resources industry of Guizhouprovince is high degree of industrial cluster and industrial competitiveness, and theknowledge-intensive and capital-intensive industry industrial agglomeration andindustrial competitiveness remains to be promoted.In analyzing the role of industrial agglomeration promoting industrycompetitiveness, due to time and the materials restrictions, this research is based on theindependent variable of industrial concentration degree of each industry, the industrialcompetitiveness as a dependent variable for panel data analysis. The independentvariable of the regression only is the industrial concentration degree, and did notconsider the other factors, such as the industrial policy, the lack of more controlvariables leading to the empirical analysis is not thorough. But the panel data analysisresults show that the vast majority of the industry cluster of industry to promoteindustry competitiveness is a positive relationship, and the promoting effect of guizhouindustry competitive industry is more obvious.
