But it also has to face some phenomenons: historical business data was notbeen made full use of for business decisions, and the MIS was not met the needs ofprice and cost statistical analysis. Because of the MIS, the methods of price and coststatistical analysis have some limitations. So it needs to do a lot by hand to finish thework of statistical and analysis.In this article, according to the practice, using statistical principle, MIS anddatabase technology, the author analyzes the problems existing in the work of steelplate centralized purchasing price and cost statistical analysis methods, and offer theimproving ways: Build database that include all the price information of suppliers.That makes it possible to do statistical and analysis with computer technology.Improve the methods of statistical analysis to increase productivity. In this article, theauthor also describes how the distribution influence on procurement costs.By building price database and improving statistical analysis methods, we canfinish the data manipulation with computer that we must finish by hand before.
