The progress of science and technology has become the main source of wealth increasesin the world. Technological innovation played an increasingly important role in theenhancement of comprehensive national strength,become the fundamental driving force forworld economic growth. However,technological innovation is aim to achieve technologicalprogress and improve production efficiency. If the process of technological innovation itselflacks efficiency,then the technological innovation is be a role to promote productionefficiency will be weakening. Knowledge intensive manufacturing industry began to becomethe core industry of the world manufacturing industry,an important symbol of the progress ofscience and technology and the strength of the competition. Patent,as a core of the knowledgeintensive manufacturing innovation enterprises and the most valuable output,is one signs ofthe important measure of innovation ability and comprehensive strength. The number andquality of patent will directly affect the core competitiveness and affect enhance the efficiencyof knowledge intensive manufacturing industry. In the fierce competition market,Chineseknowledge intensive manufacturing industry want to obtain development,we must continueto develop industrial competitive advantage,improve economic efficiency,improve theefficiency of technology innovation,so as to enhance the ability of technological innovation.Therefore,it based on patent of the core achievements of the technology innovation researchon China’s knowledge-intensive manufacturing technology innovation efficiency,and basedon the empirical evaluation results formulating scientific and reasonable countermeasures,have important academic value and theoretical significance to improve the sustainableinnovation ability of Chinese knowledge intensive manufacturing enterprise.In this environment, the paper begins to research on the knowledge intensivemanufacturing industry,about its the technological innovation efficiency Evaluation. Becauseit is a pioneering work,this paper is committed to complete the basic research work. Thispaper starts with the basic concept,and based on the relevant research results,throughanalyses the technology innovation status of the United States and Japan,as well as analysesthe technology innovation status of our knowledge-intensive manufacturing industry. Thensumming up the main causes of low efficiency in technology innovation process of China’sknowledge-intensive manufacturing. Meantime,using the group decision method to identifythe key effect factors of knowledge-intensive manufacturing technology innovation efficiency. Thus constructing the evaluation index system and evaluation model of technical innovationefficiency of China’s knowledge-intensive manufacturing enterprises. Then from patent angleand from three aspects which are the nationwide,the29provinces and cities,eight economiczones,using the DEA-Malmquist index method to evaluate the technology innovationefficiency of China’s knowledge-intensive manufacturing enterprises. Then analyzing theempirical results. Finally,based on the empirical results,put forward countermeasures andsuggestions to enhance the innovation capacity and technology innovation efficiency ofknowledge intensive manufacturing technology.
