Research On Knowledge Intensive Business Services’ Effect On Manufacturing Industry Upgrade In China

Since the 1990 s, the manufacturing industry in China has been developing rapidly, and the international transfer of industry driven by Multi-National Corporation is pushing the division of industry and the global allocation of resources. And our country manufacturing industry with the demographic dividend in the global value chain has made a place in the process of globalization, but the high input and low output of the extensive mode of development put tremendous pressure on resources and the environment, couple with lacking of capacity of its technological innovation, which making China’s manufacturing industry is facing an embarrassing situation. In the face of the increasingly severe international and domestic environment, China manufacturing industry is in urgent need of structural adjustment, improve the added value of their products, and the building of enterprise core competitiveness. Knowledge intensive business service as a senior element of production, through industry associations can improve product added value and production efficiency of the manufacturing industry enterprise, and promote the manufacturing industry structure adjustment and optimization, manufacturing industry will further increase the demand for knowledge intensive service industry. Therefore, the research on the promotion of knowledge intensive service industry to the manufacturing industry is beneficial to the development of the two. To better promote the development of both.This paper mainly from the following three aspects to study the effect of knowledge intensive service industry to manufacturing industry upgrade, first of all, this paper describes in detail the influencing factors of the manufacturing industry to upgrade and knowledge intensive service industry play a role in the intrinsic mechanism to manufacturing industry, and introduces knowledge intensive service industry and the manufacturing industry in the development of the status quo, found the knowledge intensive service industry development level is low, but the intermediate demand rate is very high, and closely linked with other industries; the level of manufacturing industry structure is low, the ability of independent innovation is weak. Secondly, to further illustrate the knowledge intensive service industry as an important intermediate input on the development of manufacturing industry role in promoting, which were analyzed by two methods. First, using the input-output analysis method to analyze the flow of knowledge intensive service industry and its sub industry of intermediate input,and found a larger proportion of consumed by manufacturing the knowledge intensive service industry; through the direct consumption coefficients and complete consumption coefficient analysis of the development of manufacturing industry of knowledge intensive business service consumption, found that knowledge intensive service industry of manufacturing industry to promote the effect is small. Second, through econometric model to empirical analysis of knowledge intensive service industry of manufacturing industry role in promoting.The results concluded that knowledge intensive service industry has certain role in promoting manufacturing industry,and the effect is strong. The analysis of the two methods makes the empirical analysis more complete and the analysis result is more persuasive. Finally, on the basis of the analysis of the previous research, the paper puts forward the corresponding policy suggestions for the development of the knowledge intensive service industry in China from three aspects.
