ABSTRACT:The history of Liling’s ceramic development has been nearly two thousand years since the Eastern Han Dynasty. The five colors under glaze in Liling is known as a national treasure. In recent years, the ceramic of Liling appears more and more often in many important stages at home and abroad, becoming an important domestic porcelain product chased all around the world. Liling’s ceramic industry has also become an important pillar for the economic growth of region. Liling’s ceramic development of our country starts from scratch, disorder and a small force, this shows the Liling’s ceramics development has stridden on a new step. In the new century, the cluster development trend of Liling’s porcelain industry emerges, though still on the very early stage, the development momentum does not reduce, it plays a very important role in promoting the economic development of Zhuzhou.Based on the literature review method, empirical analysis and the comparative research method, from the current situation, characteristics and management of Liling’s ceramics, the paper discusses the role of government in the cluster of Liling’s ceramic industry, analyzes the problems and reasons in its development, and looks into the causes and counter-measures in consideration to the development of Liling’s porcelain in Zhuzhou. This article elaborates the current cluster development situation of Liling’s ceramic industry., it focuses on the development mode of ceramics and the function of government, demonstrating the necessity of the government’s participating in management, then through research and analysis on the current development of Liling’s ceramic industry, it probes into the existing problems and the reasons. On the basis of this, data and graphs are used to demonstrate the current situation, problems and reasons. On the one hand, Liling’s ceramic industry develops rapidly; on the other hand, there are also some problems that should not be ignored. Then the essay vigorously reflects on the cluster development of Liling’s ceramic industry and comes up with some suggestions for improvement.
